  • working with leading issuers, merchants, payment networks, PSPs, local payment
  • switches, payment processors, FinTechs, and channel partners to deliver seamless
  • Apple Pay experiences and drive acceptance across the market. We're seeking a
  • payments product leader to drive the technical growth of Apple Pay in Brazil.
  • You will provide deep subject-matter expertise during initial engagements with
  • new partners, define and execute merchant enablement and acceptance strategies,
  • and lead the implementation of new features with existing strategic partners.
  • You will own the end-to-end payment experience — ensuring every transaction is
  • reliable, secure, and performant across the payment stack.
  • DESCRIPTION
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with BD (Business Development),
  • Product, Developer Relations, and engineering teams to scale Apple Pay in Brazil
  • — driving both issuer enablement and merchant acceptance for digital wallet
  • payments. You will drive partner integrations, design scalable technical
  • solutions, and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
  • across a market with a distinctive local payments landscape (including local
  • switches, domestic schemes, and instant payment rails). You will work hands-on
  • with a variety of ecosystem partners such as issuers, merchants, PSPs, local
  • payment switches, payment processors, networks, FinTechs, POS/acquirer vendors,
  • and labs to resolve issues, enable new capabilities, and maintain strong
  • technical relationships that directly impact business outcomes. You will lead
  • multiple Apple Pay projects from conception through execution, ensuring
  • alignment across partners and internal teams, and partner with the BD team to
  • drive enablement, acceptance, and adoption at scale. You will also evangelize
  • Apple Pay technology, drive Wallet adoption by solving customer problems, and
  • stay ahead of local and global industry standards and technology trends.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience as a payments product/program manager, ideally within
  • fintech or core payment technologies. Experience in the payments industry and
  • digital wallets, including experience working with merchants for digital wallet
  • acceptance. Demonstrated experience in the digital wallet ecosystem, payment
  • networks, PSPs, and local payment switches in Brazil. Ability to lead complex
  • initiatives with hands-on technical expertise across the payment ecosystem,
  • including NFC/contactless payments, EMV, payment rails, gateways, PSPs,
  • acquirers, and payment terminals. Proficiency in English and Portuguese. Proven
  • ability to communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate
  • ambiguity and make sound decisions. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical
  • Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent work
  • experience).
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Direct experience working with external partners on cross-channel initiatives
  • and new technologies. Deep understanding of Network Tokenization standards, NFC
  • technologies, EMV contactless, 3DS, ISO 8583/ISO 20022, RTP, WSDL, and mobile
  • technology. Experience with Brazilian domestic schemes (e.g., Elo), local
  • payment switches, and payment rails. Experience in payment processing, mobile
  • payments, merchant acceptance, issuer apps, e-commerce, and the NFC ecosystem
  • and applications. Experience in issuer or payment ecosystem authentication
  • methods, fraud prevention and detection, and industry best practices. Experience
  • with LATAM domestic schemes (e.g., Elo, Cabal), vouchers, combo cards, Electron
  • cards, or alternate payment methods. Proficiency in Spanish.
