Job Overview

• The Manager of Supply Chain requires an in-depth understanding of supply chain
• concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related
• disciplines. The Manager Supply Chain must be able to apply an understanding of
• the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes
• and policies for the supply chain discipline as well as identify and resolve
• technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness.
• The Manager’s Supply Chain impacts the level of service and the supply chain
• team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Decisions made by the
• Manager of the Supply Chain should be guided by policies, resource requirements,
• budgets, and the business plan.
