• What you will be doing
• Assess the financial health and risk exposure of strategic suppliers and business partners.
• Identify early warning signs of financial distress, insolvency or business deterioration.
• Lead risk assessments and stakeholder discussions during restructuring, bankruptcy or turnaround situations.
• Coordinate cross-functional crisis plans to protect supply continuity and minimise operational disruption.
• Develop market intelligence frameworks covering industries, commodities, suppliers and geographic regions.
• Monitor macroeconomic, geopolitical, regulatory and competitive developments affecting the business.
• Build risk scenarios, forecasts and mitigation strategies to support strategic sourcing and business continuity.
• Provide executive-level recommendations and reporting to senior leadership and governance committees.
• What we’re looking for
• A proven track record in supplier financial risk assessment and restructuring or insolvency situations.
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in finance, risk management, market intelligence, strategic procurement, corporate finance or restructuring.
• Excellent skills in financial performance analysis and scenario modelling or forecasting.
• Strong competencies in strategic thinking and stakeholder influence, with a collaborative approach.
• Proven ability to engage with C-level executives and external financial stakeholders.
• Experience working in multinational and complex business environments.
• Strong capabilities in crisis management, executive reporting and decision-making under uncertainty.
