  • The Head of Credit and Collections (HCC) is responsible for leading and managing
  • the Credit, C&R, and KYC/AML teams in Brazil. The role involves executing
  • Process Management within the Global Risk Functions. Responsibilities include
  • strategy setting and execution in the market, monitoring portfolio performance,
  • making decisions/recommendations on credit applications and recovery reports.
  • The Head of Credit and Collections is a participant in the Regional Credit and
  • Risk Committees and also the chairman of ACC (Local Committee that decides FEC
  • risks). As a functional member of the MT Brazil, the Head of Credit and
  • Collections is tasked with addressing local credit related operational issues,
  • leading local initiatives, and participating in management team activities.
  •  
  • Day-To-Day Activities: 
  • •    Make decisions on Credit Applications and Loan Strategy Reports (Recovery
  • Memos) within the country approval limits; 
  • •    Ensure timely and qualitative submission of credit applications to credit
  • committees beyond market approval limits; Ensure timely and qualitative
  • submission to the Regional Risk Committees; 
  • •    Actively participate in transaction structuring with stakeholders
  • (commercial, credit, legal, asset management); 
  • •    Monitor portfolio performance, implement controls, analyze portfolio
  • quality trends, and proactively identify vulnerable sectors; 
  • •    Ensure the correct handling of FEC alerts, and the execution of the
  • Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes
  • appropriately; 
  • •    Coordinate, lead, and oversee the implementation of Global Credit Risk
  • policies in the country; 
  • •    Actively participate in risk initiatives/projects;

  • Skills and Capabilities Required
  • •    Lead, manage, and coach members of the managed teams.
  • •    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related
  • field is required. A master’s degree in a related area is preferred. 
  • •    A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, managing teams of credit
  • analysts and with experience of collections and recovery knowledge; 
  • •    Fluency in English; 
  • •    Exceptional organizational and project management skills; 
  • •    Highly adaptable to changing environments; 
  • •    Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to establish internal
  • and external relationships at various organizational levels; 
  • •    Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong sense of
  • teamwork; 
  • •    Proactive and self-motivated; 
  • •    Lead by example.
  • •    Ability to balance commercial growth, customer experience and risk
  • appetite. 
  • •    Strong understanding of credit policies, risk governance, delegation
  • frameworks and approval processes. 
  • •    Experience with complex credit decisioning, asset risk, product risk and
  • preferably vendor risk or specialist credit advisory. 
  • •    Ability to translate portfolio data and emerging risk trends into clear
  • management actions. 
  • •    Strong stakeholder management across Markets, Commercial, Risk, Finance,
  • AGCO Finance and senior leadership. 
  • •    Ability to challenge constructively while enabling practical,
  • customer-focused solutions. 
  • •    Strong understanding of vendor, partner or program-based financing models. 
  • •    Ability to lead through change while maintaining independence, resilience
  • and sound judgment.
