- Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- · Be responsible for application processes within Brazil Tax, Brazilian Finance, and Brazilian Supply Chain in the IFS Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application.
- · Participate in developing internal processes for application management.
- · Manage the support process for the assigned ERP functional areas.
- · Provide user support.
- · Test vendor, subcontractor, and internal deliveries, and ensure that deliverables meet the expected quality standards.
- · Lead or participate in new ERP implementation initiatives.
- · Provide solutions for requested application changes.
- · Ensure that application changes are properly coordinated and planned before implementation.
- · Develop documentation describing application changes, processes, and functionality.
- · Provide application training to key users, Application Process Managers (APMs), and other relevant roles.
- · Ensure that application processes and application use are optimized and aligned.
- · Promote correct, consistent, and effective use of the application and master data.
- · Initiate improvements to application use, with the aim of improving processes, data quality, and routines.
- · Follow up to ensure application processes are aligned across locations and companies.
- · Stay up to date on new features and functionality in the ERP solution and closely related applications.
- · Ensure that systems and applications developed by BWE or vendors are well documented and that documentation is kept up to date throughout the application lifecycle in the department’s agreed document system and in line with corporate requirements.
- · Maintain current solutions and suggest improvements to align with new technology trends.
- · Follow up on tickets assigned through the BWE IT Ticket System.
- · Resolve issues in close cooperation with assigned key users.
- · Promptly report relevant updates and issues within the area of responsibility to the Service Desk and the IT & Systems management team, including Managers and Technical Leads.
- · Report status and progress in department meetings.
- · Ensure adherence to the IT Policy and report any issues.
- · Proactively share information and competence within the department, and continuously propose improvements to department services.
- · Maintain a good understanding of the overall ERP solution, including how it interacts with and impacts the assigned functional areas and other areas of the business.
- Requirements Education
- · Master’s or bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, IT, or another relevant field.
- · Long and relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
- Experience
- · Solid experience implementing or using IFS ERP solutions.
- · Experience using IFS Cloud in Brazil, working with the Brazil Avalara Tax solution, and strong understanding of Brazilian fiscal note functionality are preferred.
- · Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is an advantage.

- · Basic PL/SQL knowledge is beneficial.
- · Good general competence in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products is required.
- Other
- · Fluent in English and Portuguese, both spoken and written.
- · Some travel will be required.
