• About the Client & Role
• Our client is a leading online printing provider specializing in custom print and marketing products for businesses and professionals. They are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their growing team.
• In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for their customers via phone, email, and live chat, while assisting with orders, reviewing customer-supplied artwork, and helping clients understand printing specs and product requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, has strong attention to detail, and possesses basic graphic design or prepress familiarity.
• Key Responsibilities
• Customer Communication: Communicate professionally with customers through email, online chat, and phone. Provide a friendly experience from initial inquiry through order completion.
• Order Management: Answer inquiries regarding products, pricing, artwork requirements, order status, and shipping. Assist clients with placing and managing orders.
• Artwork Pre-flight & Review: Review customer-supplied artwork to identify common issues before production. Communicate artwork or design concerns clearly to customers.
• Technical Guidance: Help customers understand basic print specifications, file requirements, image quality, and dimensions. Explain technical issues in a simple, customer-friendly manner.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal production and design teams to resolve customer issues.
• Follow-Up & Organization: Follow up with customers when additional information, artwork, or approval is required. Handle multiple inquiries while staying organized.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with experience supporting clients via phone, email, and chat.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets), Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF/Acrobat tools.
• Comfortable handling digital files and formats including JPEG, JPG, PNG, and PDF.
• Hands-on experience using Canva.
• Basic understanding of graphic design concepts, image quality, dimensions, and print-ready files.
• Familiarity with common printed marketing products such as Business Cards, Postcards, Brochures, and Flyers.
• Highly detail-oriented mindset with the ability to catch artwork mistakes.
• Dependable, organized, and eager to learn about printing and prepress operations.
• Consistent availability to work 30 hours per week during EST business hours from Monday to Friday.
• Hourly Rate: $7.50 – $8.00 USD / hour (commensurate with experience).
