  • The LATAM CFX team is looking for a talented, smart, and entrepreneurial
  • Business Intelligence Analyst (BA) to help us build an exceptional Customer
  • Fulfillment Experience (CFX) in the complex and exciting Concessions (NCRC) and
  • Returns Experience (RCX) space to support LATAM fast-paced growth.
  • As a Business Intelligence Analyst (BA) in this team, you will be responsible
  • for driving and building data & analytics solutions to identify, prevent,
  • anticipate, solve for customer pain points, network defects, abuse behaviors,
  • policy and catalog gaps, and opportunities throughout the purchase and
  • post-purchase journey in MX and BR.
  • As a Business Intelligence Analyst (BA), you'll be at the heart of Amazon's
  • data-driven culture, building programmatic and analytics solutions that power
  • intelligent business decisions and solve opportunities about concessions,
  • returns experience & policies, operating procedures, network and
  • product/program's logic. Your insights will shape strategy, drive customer
  • satisfaction, and drive business growth and profitability across one of Amazon's
  • most critical areas.
  • You will partner closely with MX/BR NCRC & Returns PMs, BIE Leads and Engineers,
  • Operations Managers, and IES BIE/Applied Scientists to solve business problems
  • and should be skilled at translating complex or ambiguous problem statements
  • into analytic requirements.
  • Additionally, you will act in an analytic consultative capacity and can both
  • articulate the “so-what” of your analytic results and model potential/real
  • outcomes of proposed solutions to senior leadership.
  • A successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of our business and
  • make data-driven conclusions and programmatic solutions with direct impact in
  • Amazon's profitability. They will be comfortable with ambiguity and learning new
  • analytical skills, while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

  • Strategic Insights and Solutions
  • - You follow Amazon product development best practices and work backwards to
  • identify gaps and defects in customers shopping journey.
  • - Spearhead business intelligence & data analytics initiatives that directly
  • impact Amazon's profitability.
  • - You develop advanced analytical tools and models to uncover hidden business
  • opportunities.
  • - Present compelling insights, business models, programs, workflows, policies
  • recommendations to senior leadership, influencing key decisions.
  • Innovate with Advanced Analytics
  • - Harness the power of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI to generate business
  • impact
  • - Lead data-driven discussions with Product and Operations teams to accelerate
  • growth and solve for leakages
  • - Pioneer new methodologies in returns experience, abuse and defect analytics,
  • setting industry standards
  • - Create intuitive and automated analytical tools that transform complex data
  • into clear, actionable insights
  • - Continuously innovate and simplify tools and processes, maximizing impact

  • - Craft compelling narratives from data, influencing key stakeholders

  • About the team
  • Joining the CFX team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set

  • We are looking for a leader with super-powers in analytics and getting things
  • done (a not-that-frequent combination!). Basic Qualifications: - Experience with
  • data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • - Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
  • etc.
  • - Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g.
  • Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods
  • (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
  • - Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R) Preferred
  • Qualifications: - Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
  • - Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
  • - Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
