YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

  • * Set the direction for sales, account development, marketing, and customer
  • engagement activities across South America.
  • * Spend meaningful time with customers, deepen strategic relationships, and
  • support the team in developing and closing important opportunities.
  • * Coach, develop, and inspire the South America Business Development team while
  • building a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performing culture.
  • * Work closely with Key Account Managers, technical experts, operational teams,
  • and colleagues across Region Americas and DNV’s global organization.
  • * Bring customer and market insight into DNV, helping shape priorities,
  • services, and solutions around emerging needs.
  • * Take ownership of selected strategic customer relationships and contribute
  • directly to business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • * Grow your own leadership profile and professional network through a role with
  • broad regional exposure and international collaboration.

  • You are a commercially minded maritime professional who enjoys connecting
  • people, ideas, and opportunities. You build trust naturally, understand how to
  • navigate a complex stakeholder environment, and are equally comfortable setting
  • direction, engaging customers, and supporting a team. You bring energy, sound
  • judgment, and a genuine interest in helping both customers and colleagues
  • succeed.

WHAT IS REQUIRED

  • * A university degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • * Solid experience within the maritime industry and a strong understanding of
  • the shipping and maritime business environment.
  • * Experience in business development, sales, customer engagement, key account
  • management, or a related commercial role.
  • * A strong professional network within the maritime and shipping community in
  • Brazil and preferably across South America.
  • * Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, developing, or
  • managing others.
  • * Strong business acumen and the ability to translate customer and market
  • insight into priorities and action.
  • * Professional proficiency in English and Portuguese. 
  • * Spanish is an advantage.
  • * Willingness and ability to travel within Brazil, across South America, and
  • internationally as required.
